Thaumo Systems

Operating model

Mission outcomes, delivered as a service.

Thaumo is building an integrated model for developing, producing, and delivering mission-specific defense capabilities. Our initial offering is organized around contractor-owned, contractor-operated aerial threat representation.

The offering

From requirement to execution.

Delivery loopDefine · Configure · Deploy · Execute · Regenerate · Improve

01

Define

Work with the customer to establish the required threat presentation, performance parameters, training objectives, and operational constraints.

02

Configure

Select or adapt the platform, mission profile, and signature-representation configuration for the specified requirement.

03

Deploy

Prepare the necessary systems, personnel, and supporting equipment for authorized operations.

04

Execute

Deliver the agreed training or evaluation activity under approved operating procedures and applicable range requirements.

05

Regenerate

Recover, refurbish, or replace equipment as appropriate to support additional missions.

06

Improve

Incorporate operational feedback into subsequent engineering, manufacturing, and service-delivery iterations.

Commercial structure

Pay for capability rather than permanent ownership.

The service model is designed to accommodate several engagement structures, depending on the customer’s requirements. Potential structures include individual mission events, target presentations, exercise campaigns, and recurring capacity commitments.

By integrating platform production with service delivery, Thaumo intends to align its economics with repeatable customer outcomes. Customer ownership and direct platform procurement may also be supported where program requirements make those arrangements preferable.

Economic advantage

Lower the cost of each delivered effect.

Our business model is built around reducing the complete cost of delivering a useful training or evaluation outcome—including manufacturing, mission preparation, transportation, personnel, ground equipment, maintenance, attrition, and recurring operations.

Intended advantagesDesign-to-cost · reusable tech · vertical integration · lean ops

Design-to-cost engineering

Cost and manufacturability inform the architecture from the beginning.

Reusable technology

Shared software, subsystems, and engineering processes reduce the need to develop each application independently.

Selective vertical integration

Critical components can be brought in-house where that improves supply resilience or economics.

Lean deployment

Compact systems and efficient operating concepts reduce logistical demands.

Repeatable service delivery

Standardized processes and reusable infrastructure create opportunities to improve efficiency across successive engagements.

Our objective is to make realistic capability delivery economical enough to support the repetition and scale that modern readiness requires.
